My Penance (2015)

MY PENACE is a psychological thriller that explores themes of suicide, domestic violence and the universality of grief. Nathan has lost someone very close to him. He can't seem to cope with it, and he is literally haunted. But his new neighbor, Stephanie, is more damaged than him. A victim of ongoing domestic violence, Stephanie challenges every view Nathan holds dear, inspiring the former activist to begin his blogging once more. Little did he realize the danger he would put her in or how far he would go to try to save his new darkly-twisted friend.
