Storyline:  A teenager named Madeline Whittier suffers from a rare disease that confines her to her home, preventing her from experiencing the outside world. Her life revolves around books, her mother, and her nurse Carla. When Olly Bright moves in next door, their connection begins with emails and quickly deepens. Through Olly, Maddy starts to realize that her sheltered existence isn't truly living, sparking a yearning for new experiences and adventures beyond her controlled environment.
