Scotland Decides (2015)

A political documentary filmed, researched and developed by university students from Exeter University around the 2014 referendum on Scottish independence. Visiting cities and towns across Scotland in the weeks before the referendum the team met campaigners, politicians and voters who were engaged in the most important vote in Scotland's history. Interviews and events include those with senior Scottish politicians including former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Charles Kennedy, Margaret Curran as well as others. As journalistic bias was a major part of the debate some interviews were also conducted with UK and foreign journalists. Another aspect of the debate was the potential financial impact on Scotland and this is dealt with through interviews with billionaire Sir Tom Hunter and Professor Jerry de Groot (St Andrews University).
