Authentic

Authentic is based on a real-life event and embraces themes of love, family, relationships and the LGBTQIA+ community. The story focuses on Jessie, a young woman navigating her 20's, living with her parents and helping care for her mother who has been diagnosed with cancer whilst also trying to maintain a relationship with her estranged brother, Danny. It also hi-lights the struggles young people face in different aspects of their lives, in Jessie's case - her sexuality and she deals with coming out, after an initial bad experience she learns through the support of her brother, that no matter what; Never be afraid to be Authentically who you are.
