There are scenes set in a brothel, although no sexual activity is shown.

In one scene a man is grabbed by an angry mob and has tar poured over his head and face. The scene is repeated a few times in the form of flashbacks. The man does not suffer serious facial injuries as a result of the attack but is clearly traumatised by it. Later in the film, he remembers the attack while he is shaving and accidentally drags the blade over his cheek a few times, drawing blood. The scene focuses more on the man's trauma than on the bloodiness. Ultimately the man, who is a priest, finds inner peace through his religion.

There are two fight scenes - a comic bar fight at the start of the film and a scene in which one of the heroes fights several men with various kicks and blows. He ends the fight using a wooden window frame as a weapon. There is little injury detail in either fight.

Finally, as a man is about to approach a female politician with a knife, she is shot by another man, resulting in a brief blood spurt.

The film contains mild bad language (uses of 'shit' and 'bloody').

In another scene a man is grabbed and threatened with a hot frying pan. The threat is fairly brief and the aggressor is simply trying to extract information about the whereabouts of another man.
