A photographer, a seeker of the truth, a rebel, and a romantic. Constantly frustrated by society and its continuous turn towards the deification of the ridiculous and the destruction of the important, his life became his work as his authentically fueled his passion. One part relic, one part icon, he's dedicated his life to capturing images through integration and invisibility. From Capital Hill to The Fillmore, "Gump-like" moments gravitate to Z, and he's become a rock star, a political figure, and an athlete in his own world while sharing his experiences through his unique perspective of destiny. Michael Zagaris's behind the scenes and "become what you shoot" point of view led to gigs with The Rolling Stones to Led Zeppelin, Cream to The Who, Peter Frampton, Santana, Lou Reed, The Sex Pistols and all that has become one of the most influential ages of rock. His honest imagery is iconic and as a participant to San Francisco's cultural evolution he continues to capture the Bay Area as the team photographer for both the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco 49ers.
