High Fidelity (2020)

In 1977, all forms of music were outlawed with the introduction of the Criminal Law Act and creativity became heavily restricted. At the turn of the Millenia, Billie is a young woman forced into the rehabilitation programme at the Artistic Corrections Facility. Stevie is a former punk rocker who is yet to be broken by the system. Intrigued by Stevie's blatant disregard for authority and the strict rules they are placed under, Billie accepts Stevie's invite to The Studio - a place where rebels who are opposed to the music ban are free to listen to music and express themselves however they please. Billie becomes heavily intertwined in the movement, using music as an escape from her tedious life. However, when Stevie is sent to prison for her refusal to conform, Billie must decide what kind of life she really wants for herself.
