Storyline:  Novocherkassk, USSR, 1962. Lyudmila, a loyal Party official, supports communist ideals and rejects dissent. When a strike at a factory ends in a massacre ordered by authorities, she witnesses the violence firsthand. Amid the chaos, her daughter goes missing. Confronted with the cover-up and repression, Lyudmila begins a desperate search that challenges her beliefs.
