Storyline:  During the London Blitz in World War II, George, a nine-year-old boy, is sent by his mother, Rita, to the English countryside with other evacuated children. Determined to be reunited with his family, he escapes the train and returns alone to the chaotic capital. On a perilous journey, amidst the dangers of war, George will try to reach home. Meanwhile, Rita, desperate, searches for her missing son.
