Freewheeling (2022)

Freewheeling is an anthology web series about trying, failing, dusting yourself off and trying again. Against the backdrop of the pandemic a collection of lovable, relatable characters, as diverse as the South London they live in, do their best to face up to the challenges in their lives. From the minor anxiety of picking the right biscuit to the major tragedy of losing a loved one, Freewheeling follows one stolen red bicycle through a tapestry of interconnected lives. The show takes an endearing and comic look at how we're coping, from a wacky carrot dieter desperate for some control to a therapist who seeks her own form of therapy in a dominatrix office. This show will delight, challenge and commiserate with a generation reeling from the uncertainty of a decade of cuts to services, economic instability and political upheaval.
