Storyline:  Haunted by guilt after concealing a murder, Mona, a retired singer from northern Sudan trapped in a strained marriage, offers shelter to Julia, the southern Sudanese widow of the man who was killed, and her son Daniel. Unable to confess her secret, she seeks redemption through kindness, but the nation’s escalating unrest soon invades her home, forcing her to confront the past she tried to bury.
