Ace Cannon's Bi-Centennial Salute (1976)

A documentary tracing saxophonist Ace Cannon's tours across the country. Opening with performances by his band in several clubs, followed by scenes from his tour across the South and footage of him and the band recording an album in a Memphis studio. Other major segments of the film were shot on a riverboat on the Mississippi River and in the swamplands of Central Florida, with music by Cannon and his band used as backdrop for much of the film footage.
