As we go through the history of the Historic Lundin Family Farm, you will learn about how three (3) of the Lundin Family Members try to save the Lundin Family Farm for "Farm Preservation" (Open Space Land). The Open Space Land will keep the Community Beautiful and not overdeveloped with New Homes and Businesses. Andrew Lundin traveled from Sweden to Ellis Island (bringing with Him ten (10) other Families), He then tracked across the Plains of America and landed in Park City Utah. In 1892 the Lundin Family Farm is where Andrew said this is where He would raise His Family. In 1904 Johnny Lundin and His Thrashing Machine became a hit with the locals. Johnny would thrash their grain. At 17 years old Andrew Lundin II enlisted in the Marines Corps. Andrew was happy to join because it would be the first time he would own a new pair of shoes and the food was good. The back of Andrew's leg was blown away by a US Shell in World War 2 the (Battle of Saipan). Andrew received a Purple Heart. In 1945 after spending a year in the Hospital, Andrew returned to Midway. Several years later The Lundin Farm became a Horse Riding business. Celebrities like Robert Redford and Mike Connors (Manix) rode the Lundin horses on the trails over the years. Andrew would share boot camp stories, rather than war stories with the Family. Andrew was still bleeding from his leg wound when he died. Sharing his love with His Family, raising animals and preservation of The Lundin Farm is where Andrew loved to be.
