Storyline:  Set in 1940s Berlin, the film follows German theologian and pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer who is called upon to challenge the Nazi regime during the Third Reich. A preacher of love and peace, Bonhoeffer secretly agrees to join a plot to assassinate Hitler. Risking his life and tormented by his own moral convictions, Bonhoeffer will face the most difficult decision: to sacrifice everything to try to save millions of Jews from genocide.
