Storyline: Sam directed many classics from the golden age of Hong Kong action cinema, but behind the scenes, he has a reputation for endangering his crew by making them perform dangerous stunts. Sam comes from a bygone era when that was the norm. As long as the audience enjoyed the final result, stunt performers were expendable. But today, he's out of touch. One day, an old friend hires him to direct action scenes, but he quickly discovers that his retro style doesn't suit his former protégé Wai, now a famous actor who prefers a safer approach to filming action. Tension runs high on set, especially as the investors are not pleased with the bank robbery scene or the finale. Should the old risky methods be used, or is it better to rely on the safer, modern approach to make the film more exciting?
