Storyline:  It’s Alain’s wedding day, and nothing is going to plan. Adding to his stress are his divorced parents and his unreliable best man Édouard, who’s embroiled in a real estate scheme. Troubled by the reemergence of a figure from his youth, Alain must make peace with the past to get through what ought to be the most Lovely Day of his life. Brimming with personality, this nonlinear comedy of errors from Québécois director Falardeau is a splendid adaptation of Alain Farah’s novel Mille secrets mille dangers.
