After her husband walks out on her, newly single, stay-at-home mom Marissa Conklin takes over the coaching duties for their 10-year-old son's baseball team in attempt to maintain some normalcy in their lives. But when she ends up discovering things about herself, her marriage and the male-dominated world of youth baseball, Marissa soon realizes she may be better off never being "normal" again.
