Storyline:  4000 years ago in the Canadian Arctic. Kaujak and Sapa were promised to each other at birth and have always had a sincere and loving relationship. But, after the sudden death of Kaujak’s father, the bonds of marriage are broken. Sapa is away on a hunt when Kaujak’s mother remarries and the family move to the camp of her new husband. Life there soon turns into a nightmare.
