Storyline:  After losing their five-year-old daughter Mei, Suzuki Kae and her husband Tadahiko find a doll identical to her. Kae cherishes it deeply until the birth of their new daughter, Mai. When Mai turns five and starts playing with the doll, eerie events unfold. No matter how many times the family tries to discard it, the doll always finds its way back.
