Storyline: Naofumi Iwatani is summoned from Japan to Melromarc as the Shield Hero, joining three other chosen defenders. Labeled the weakest and later betrayed by Myne, he is stripped of support and credibility. Forced to rebuild from nothing, he forms a reluctant partnership with Raphtalia while confronting the Waves threatening the kingdom.
