UP Faith&Family removes what they can without damaging the plot.

Occasional queer characters (see individual episode Parent Guide for details)

Some mild romance, especially in later seasons.

Some fairly mild cop-show violence: shooting, threatening, some hand-to-hand combat, and occasional injuries of main characters.

A murder in nearly every episode, usually not graphic or very bloody.

Regular misuses of God's name, "Hell", and "Damn". Occasional uses of "cr*p", "a**", and "p*ssed". (See individual episode Parent Guide for specifics). UP Faith&Family mutes out the profanity.

Some social drinking among the main characters, with no drunkeness.

Drug dealing and use by the bad guys. Occasional talk of drug and/or alcohol addiction.

Some intense scene/theme in every episode: murder, kidnapping, bombing, etc. The series does not strive to present it realistically, so there are very few scenes that are actually scary.
