The lightsaber fights are very intense often having characters in peril
Many stormtroopers die from blaster fire, lightsaber strikes, explosions, electrocution, falls, being eaten by creatures, or being launched into space. The deaths occur in both serious and humorous contexts.
This show isn't as violent or dark as it's predecessor (Star Wars: the Clone Wars), but it has its moments of being violent
Some Imperial stormtroopers are killed by lightsaber slashes on-screen.

Some enemies gets ejected into space. They float away and are presumed dead.
A character is restrained by the Force around the neck, then cut in half by a thrown lightsaber. The action happens mostly off-screen, but the character's legs are briefly visible as they collapse to the ground, lifeless.
A character is impaled by a lightsaber. The scene is partially off-screen, showing the character reacting to the strike, with red smoke visible at the bottom of the frame. The dying character falls to the ground, briefly revealing a burn-like hole in their torso caused by the lightsaber.
A character's weapon is damaged during a fight, causing it to malfunction while they try to use it to escape, resulting in a fall towards their death.
In the Season 3 premiere, a character uses the Force to control a trooper's mind, causing him to attack his own comrades with an AT-ST and then turn the weapon on himself.
Spider-like creatures called Krykna are killed in various ways: some are shot in the eye on-screen with blasters, others are blown up. Kanan and Ezra use their lightsabers to kill some, including one that is impaled through the head on-screen.
A worm-like creature called Joopa (or Big Bongo) is shot in the mouth by a gunship. The scene is brief and not graphic, showing only a quick hit with some smoke coming from its mouth.
Some stormtroopers are killed by lightsaber slashes in Seasons 3 and 4. The action is shown on-screen, but the camera is positioned behind them. We see the sparks and the saber movement but not the actual wound.
An entire army of warriors gets disintegrated on-screen by an Imperial weapon in Season 4 premiere.
A huge space battle occurs in the Season 3 finale. Many Rebel ships are destroyed by the Imperials. An important supporting character sacrifices himself by directing his ship, with two Rebel pilots aboard, towards an Imperial Interdictor Cruiser, resulting in a massive explosion and destruction. The scene carries some emotional impact.
In the episode "A Fool's Hope", an old rebel dies by getting shot in the chest. It happens quickly.
An important character is engulfed by a massive explosion after saving others, making for an emotionally intense sacrifice.
In the Season 1 finale, a character is pushed off a platform and loses consciousness. Upon waking, they have two open cuts on the side of their face, with a small amount of stylized blood in the show's artistic style. These cuts remain as scars for the rest of the series.
Most episodes include fighting scenes, which include the deaths of many Stormtroopers. It is quick and nothing graphic is shown. In the episode "Path of the Jedi", Ezra has a hallucination where all of the rebels die, including Kanan being stabbed by the Inquisitor. It all ends up being fake, but is still really intense.
In the episode "Call to Action," two characters are executed via beheading by a lightsaber. The actual act is off screen, but their pained and surprised expressions can be briefly seen while the commander watches with a sick expression on his face.
Sometimes animals attack characters.
