The lightsaber fights are very intense often having characters in peril
Many stormtroopers die from blaster fire, lightsaber strikes, explosions, electrocution, falls, being eaten by creatures, or being launched into space. The deaths occur in both serious and humorous contexts.
This show isn't as violent or dark as it's predecessor (Star Wars: the Clone Wars), but it has its moments of being violent

Spider-like creatures called Krykna are killed in various ways: some are shot in the eye on-screen with blasters, others are blown up. Kanan and Ezra use their lightsabers to kill some, including one that is impaled through the head on-screen.
A worm-like creature called Joopa (or Big Bongo) is shot in the mouth by a gunship. The scene is brief and not graphic, showing only a quick hit with some smoke coming from its mouth.

A huge space battle occurs in the Season 3 finale. Many Rebel ships are destroyed by the Imperials. An important supporting character sacrifices himself by directing his ship, with two Rebel pilots aboard, towards an Imperial Interdictor Cruiser, resulting in a massive explosion and destruction. The scene carries some emotional impact.
In the episode "A Fool's Hope", an old rebel dies by getting shot in the chest. It happens quickly.

In the Season 1 finale, a character is pushed off a platform and loses consciousness. Upon waking, they have two open cuts on the side of their face, with a small amount of stylized blood in the show's artistic style. These cuts remain as scars for the rest of the series.
Most episodes include fighting scenes, which include the deaths of many Stormtroopers. It is quick and nothing graphic is shown. In the episode "Path of the Jedi", Ezra has a hallucination where all of the rebels die, including Kanan being stabbed by the Inquisitor. It all ends up being fake, but is still really intense.
In the episode "Call to Action," two characters are executed via beheading by a lightsaber. The actual act is off screen, but their pained and surprised expressions can be briefly seen while the commander watches with a sick expression on his face.
