The show also featured "Television's Hollywood Hostess," Anita Coleman and Moppet, J.P. Sloane, along with the Memory Lane Orchestra. Anita and Jimmie had numerous friends in the political arena and entertainment industry including Candy Candido, Donald O'Conner, Jimmy Durante, Abbott & Costello, Lash LaRue, Audie Murphy, Alan Young, Los Angeles Sherriff- Eugene (Gene) W. Biscailuz, Variety columnist Army Arched, directors' Ed Sedgwick and Frederick (Freddy) De Cordova, guitar legend Jimmy Bryant and Flying Tiger Airline's president, Bob Prescott; many of whom would regularly appear on the program. In one summer alone, the show topped Ed Sullivan over eighteen times in ratings.
