No graphic sex scenes. Occasional scenes of groping, kissing, undressing. Some brief comments about breasts, penis size, and sexual urges.

People are shot, beaten, stabbed, choked, burned, smothered, hanged, and poisoned. Fairly graphic but brief. The camera usually doesn't linger on the gore or aftermath.

Frequent scenes of gun violence.

While trying to escape drug dealers, an underage girl falls hard between rocks and breaks her leg.

A few uses of "damn" "shit" and "bastard" in some episodes. Other episodes explode with 40-50 uses of "fuck" and "fucking" sometimes twice in a sentence, and assorted other TV-MA profanity on par with a Tarantino movie. Way past the assigned TV-14 rating on Prime. (I'm not sure what show people are watching when the rate this "mild.")

Beer, liquor, and wine in every episode, often to excess. Very little smoking. However, several episodes feature heavy use of hard drugs, usually by young teenagers; some act as drug dealers, some end up in comas, raped, assaulted, or dead. Hard, rough and portrayed unapologetically.

Underage boys deal drugs and entice underage girls to "party" while parents remain oblivious.

People (particularly women) are often in peril. Kidnappings, beatings, stalkings, attempted rapes.

Underage girls are kidnapped and held in bondage.

A woman is locked in a burning lighthouse.

Frequent scenes of teenagers experimenting with and abusing drugs and alcohol. In all cases they rudely refuse and mock parental guidance and frequently end up in dangerous circumstances with dire results.

While swimming, a woman gets entangled with a rotting corpse caught in fishing nets.

An underage girl overdoses on drugs, bleeds from the nose, and falls in a coma.
