I thought it was a suspenseful drama, but later I realized it was more about exploring teenage crime. The whole story felt a bit lackluster and dull due to the slow pace and the weak sense of suspense surrounding the teenagers, mixed in with the intertwined plot of the two adult characters. It's a shame, considering the talent of the two actors involved.
The first episode deserves a 6.5/10. It's a suspenseful crime drama based on a true story, with Lily Gladstone, a Golden Globe-winning actress, in the lead. The story delves into a mysterious small town, teenage struggles, rebellious girls, ethnic minorities, bullying crimes, and solving mysteries. The whole cast delivers strong performances, and the cinematography is impressive. But honestly, just one episode is not enough.
