Storyline:  It is the second version of the Brazilian soap opera, which achieved immense success internationally, particularly abroad. It follows the life of Isaura, born into slavery on Comendador Almeida's farm in 1835. Despite her upbringing by Gertrudes, the comendador's wife, Isaura faces turmoil when Leôncio, the comendador's son, develops an unhealthy obsession with her. After Gertrudes's death, Isaura's life becomes a nightmare as Leôncio becomes her new master, subjecting her to his cruelty.
