Multiple times married couples are seen next to each other in bed, in their sleepwear. No intimacy is shown. Sometimes a loving, but not steamy, kiss is shown before the scene cuts. In general, verbal references to marital intimacy are vague, though near the end of the series one married couple's comments aren't as discreet (including references to intimacy problems).

References to infidelity, intimacy before marriage, pregnancy outside of marriage, homosexuality, contraceptives, and STIs.

"The Kama Sutra" is mentioned in multiple episodes, even briefly showing inside the book.
