LA County Sheriffs Lt. Dan Raven and partner Sgt. Burke worked the Sunset Strip, often getting themselves involved with hipster show-biz types (Buddy Hackett? Gogi 'The Wayward Wind' Grant?? Okay Paul Anka was on one show). Cooler than DRAGNET at least. Magazine shutterbug Perry Levitt was often nosing in on the action.
