The Beetleborgs fight with laser guns and various other weapons but it's fantasy violence. The monsters don't even explode when defeated like in Power Rangers; instead they fly back to the comics they came from.
Occasionally Frankenbeans and Mums lose parts of their bodies but this is done for comedy. No blood.

The monsters haunting the Hillhurst mansion occasionally try to eat humans, but this is done for comedy.
The Magnavores are less scary than Power Rangers villains. At the very most Vexor shoots out lightning and Shadowborg outmatches the Beetleborgs.
Younger viewers may find Nukus scary since he shoots fire out of his eyes and brings drawings to life with fire, leaving holes in the paper. He is also much more menacing than the Magnavores.
