There's an episode named "The Mating Dance".

Nothing explicit or actually shown on screen, although some of these issues are touched upon in other ways, or are discussed/mentioned.

A recurring gag involves an educational TV show in which a boy named Timmy always ends up killed (he is almost always shown without a head). While violent, these moments are played for laughs.

Nothing outside of comic, slapstick violence. Characters can and often do fight and hit each other, but it is always played for comic effect.

The baby is thrown across the room on several occasions, however he just seems to laugh and enjoy it, and take no pain from it. The series ends on a very dark and depressing note ( see frightning/intense scenes for more details.)

"Damn" and "hell" are used from time to time, this became less frequent in later seasons.

"Oh my god!" is used at most times.

The episode "Baby talk" revolves around the word "Smoo", which is a profane word in the dinosaur world, but it's not too bad and/or serious for a family show. Played for laughs.

One episode involves Robbie jacked on Steroids.

In a photoshoot for the TV show, Earl can be seen with a cigar in his mouth.

Some of these issues are touched upon in various ways, but nothing explicit is shown or said. Some episodes do feature bar-like environments.

"Changing Nature" is very dark.

In "Germ Warfare" and "Terrible Twos", the Baby spins his head in a 360 degree angle (just like the Exorcist, Toy Story, Goosebumps, and Big City Greens' Hiya Henry episode). This is easily scary, tied with the ending of the series (Changing nature).

In "The Son Also Rises", Robbie has an emotional outburst at his father, dealing with how stressed, tired, confused, and angry he is. This is played for comedy, though in Robbie's position, you'd feel sorry for him.

The show sometimes covers more mature themes such as puberty, drugs, racism, and political affiliation. However these are often portrayed in a family-friendly manner (such as drugs being portrayed as a carnivorous dinosaur secretly consuming vegetables).
