Storyline:  Daisuke Higashida, a serious first-year student at Higashizaka High School, lives a quiet life with a distant family. When his father’s company goes bankrupt, Daisuke can no longer afford basic expenses and is ordered to get a part-time job. He chooses to work at a nearby family restaurant to avoid cycling 15 kilometers to school.
