In the fourth episode, a man is seen in bed kissing two women. He then gets out of bed naked. Though the lighting is dark, his buttocks are briefly visible.

Lots of fairly violent battle scenes.

Occasional beheadings and crucifixions. While the related violence isn't depicted with a passion, it can still be quite realistic.

Frequent usage of B*st*rd.

The worst barbarities between belligerents is implied rather than shown onscreen. The atrocities carried out upon prisoners of war are especially brutal, including decapitation and burning, the latter even applying to women and children. An unusually cruel act of dismembering women's breasts is described, but not shown onscreen.

Episode 3 has a scene with Boudica being whipped and the implied rape of her daughters by Roman soldiers (other Celtic chieftains make reference to the rape of Boudica's daughters in dialogue with Boudica)- should be watched with caution, as this is an emotional scene and may or may not be triggering for survivors of rape/abuse.
