The Gilded Age (2022)

Set in the late 19th century, the series follows Marian Brook, a young woman who, after the death of her father, moves to New York to live with her aunts. On her journey she meets Peggy Scott, an aspiring african-american writer, with whom she forms a bond of trust. However, she soon discovers the social codes and feuds between her neighbours, where wealth is synonymous with status and power.
