In 1946, the most important men of the United States mafia met at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba in Havana. At a party hosted by Frank Sinatra, surrounded by Hollywood stars, the most important men of Cosa Nostra decided that Latin America would be the new territory to display their power. That summit forever changed the history of organized crime on the continent. Between the 1920s and 1950s, the years of the post-war period, the Great Depression and the Second World War, Abelardo Rodríguez, Bugsy Siegel, Virginia Hill and Meyer Lansky designed a daring plan that would open the doors to new horizons. Behind these great stories we will be able to know the first Chinese community that began to harvest poppies in Mexico, the clandestine travels of the mythical Bugsy Siegel and Virginia Hill, the construction of the emporium of hotels in Havana and casinos in Acapulco. Parties in luxurious hotels were the setting for important deals. Stories of love, betrayal and power surrounded by alcohol, gambling, glamour and corruption.
