The World of Battle Rap is the other side of the Hip Hop Music Industry, but it's more raw and in your face. For decades rappers have gathered on street corners and in various venues to confront each other in a series of rounds like boxing but with words. These winners of these battles are normally determined by the crowd attending and cheering on their favorite opponent. Taz Bailey is the host of The Bar Structure and he breaks down each battle by these categories: Lyrical Content, Stage Presence, Performance, Freestyle, Rebuttal and extra points for Bars Landed. There are 3 rounds for each battle between 2 opponents and sometimes there are special occasions when there's 2 on 2 battles. In the end, the Battle Rapper with the most points is determined to be the winner.
