Weingut Wader (2018)

Anne is a passionate winemaker, but her father's sudden death throws everything into disarray. She was actually supposed to take over the winery from him later, but now everything seems different because her father didn't sign the will. That's why she now only inherits a quarter of the winery, her brother Matthias wants to sell his share because his restaurant in Hamburg is on the verge of bankruptcy, and her mother Käthe just wants peace and quiet and is therefore leaning towards selling. Then there is also Bruno, her father's brother, who felt badly treated at the time because his brother Albert was once able to take over the farm. In the meantime, thanks to his marriage, he has his own winery, but he is speculating that he will now be able to buy the other winery and is therefore playing the helpful role. But these are not the only worries that plague Anne; as a single mother of a blind daughter, she also faces challenges there. Luckily, there is Anne's best friend Corinna and her brother Valentin, who is her uncle Bruno's cellar master but who has his eye on her and therefore supports her. Now everything depends on whether her mother sells or not.
