In the midst of the prohibition era in Los Angeles, a well respected and upper-class family of four lives. Harlow, William and their children Doris and Joseph seem like the picture of perfection to most eyes. However, beneath the glitz and glamour of the roaring 20s, a dark secret lies right underneath their feet. When faced to take control over the Speakeasy her husband opened in the basement of their guest house, Harlow will discover an underlying thirst for all the things she could never have explored in the open, turning the speakeasy into her gruesome playground.
