This show is based around teenage relationships. Most of the theme and scenes are sensitive and sweet but I would say this should be moderate as there are suggested sex scenes with a build up to sex and talk of sex etc.

There's some fighting but nothing too graphic. There are bruises and nosebleeds but the injuries aren't gory or over-the-top.

A character states that he used to commit self harm. The discussion is not graphic and no self harm is shown on screen.

"Fag" is said once. "Piss" is also used once.

The series maintains a light tone, but there are some scenes that may be upsetting to younger viewers

There are conversations and events in connection to eating disorders and self harm.

In season 1 episode 2, one of the bullies says, "I'd rather be dead than gay." Charlie is clearly extremely uncomfortable in this scene.
