Storyline:  Ayumu Tanaka, a former kendo champion, starts high school by surprising everyone and joining the small, unofficial Shogi Club. His real goal is to be near Urushi Yaotome, the club’s president and his crush. Determined to only confess once he beats her in shogi, Ayumu faces both the game’s challenges and Urushi’s flustered reactions as their bond grows with every match.
