The character of Yoko Kyubi, despite being female, is voiced by a male VA. Some people online have headcannoned her as being trans because of this, however it is yet to be officially confirmed if this is the case.

While the show has some physical violence, most of the violent scenes involve beys being battled against each other. Some of these battles can get quite intense, basically Dragon Ball Z with metal spinning tops.

ADK Emotions, the company in charge of the English localization, had renamed the bey "HellsScythe" and the Hells line of beys to "Scythe Incendio" and the Incendio line of beys.
