During a summer night in Buenos Aires, a lethal snowfall decimates the city. Juan Salvo and a group of survivors struggle to resist amid the chaos, only to realize the storm is the first strike of an invading foreign force. Facing a coordinated assault, they must join forces to endure what lies ahead. Adapted from the Argentine graphic novel of the same name created by Oesterheld.
There are a few bright spots—solid lead performances, striking visuals, and thought-provoking themes. Still, issues with pacing, character depth, and suspense hinder the overall impact. Best suited for viewers who appreciate slow-burn sci-fi with social commentary, especially those familiar with the source material.
The plot and character development feel flat and fail to generate emotional resonance. Supporting roles are underused and poorly developed, while the pacing drags and the story lacks originality. Key narrative details are missing, and the show never manages to build effective suspense. Even major mysteries, like the cause of the deadly snowfall, go unresolved.
