The show deals with some dark and mature subject matter such as gangs, gang violence, guns, death, beatings, war, refugees and possibly drug deals. All of this is seen through the eyes of children.
The main villain of season one can be very scary. They're manipulative, controlling, persuasive and make shady deals. Whenever any characters interact with him they are nervous and scared of him and what he might do. He also gets violent with people in the show and beats someone up on screen.
A child witnesses a violent beating. We first hear shouting and beating sounds. We then see someone violently punching someone and then see the beaten face of the victim with some blood reflected in the main characters scared eyes.
