Plerng Chimplee (2014)

Natrai, the owner of a big logging business, disguises himself as a manager when he goes to the forest to check up on his employees. There, under the guise of being a mere manager named Nantrai, he falls in love at first sight with Nuea Nang, the very beautiful granddaughter of the village elder who is called in to perform a folk dance at his welcoming party when the main dancer injures herself at the last minute. Completely in love, Natrai does everything he can in order to win the beautiful girl's heart. In the meantime, his tyrant mother is all set to marry him to Khaekhai, a greedy hi-so woman adamant about marrying Natrai. Nuea Nang is the granddaughter of the village elder with whom she's lived since her mother died. Her grandfather is extremely protective of her because her foreign father abandoned her mother after getting her pregnant and he doesn't want to see his granddaughter in the same situation. Thus, he believes in never letting his granddaughter fall into the hands of a man who isn't a resident of the village. Nuea Nang loves her grandfather very much and always obeys him. On the road to true love, Natrai and Nuea Nang face many obstacles and misunderstandings before they can get their happily ever after in the end.
