Barcelona, a city of stunning natural beauty, but also a place where lonely breezes sweep across sun-soaked streets. Its golden splendor holds a painful beauty, tinged with melancholy. Beneath its warm exterior lies a sense of emptiness. The romantic allure masks the characters' isolation, and confusion mirrors reality. Unplanned love brings both dread and entertainment to the story, adding to its depth and intrigue. ps: Yeah, this movie feels like it could be an Almodóvar film, but it's actually by Woody Allen.

Penélope Cruz is just sublime in this. 100% deranged and charismatic. Such a talent!

All good in my book.An all around enjoyable movie, if a bit basic, but definitely brought up by the cast. It's quirky, it's got kind of a pensive touch to it, it's in Barcelona- I mean, not bad at all.

"Trying new things".Not one of Woody Allen's major films, but it's got his style written all over it, despite not being set in NYC. With an incredibly well-matched cast, who deliver individually great performances on their own, this tragicomedy has loads of amazing visuals and quotable scenes. I almost wish it could have been jointly directed/written with Almodóvar so it could have felt fully baked, and avoided some characters having bordered on stereotypical.
