The storyline isn't very strong, but the scene where the dog gets killed really stands out in the whole film! Plus, the pacing of the story is just too slow. I was left feeling frustrated when I reached the ending, it felt as if it was over just as I'd started to get into it... However, the visual effects are fantastic. The depiction of the deserted, apocalyptic landscape with the man and the dog is exceptional!

It's actually an 8 out of 10. I gave it top marks because the film brought to life a dreamscape of mine: crumbling skyscrapers of a big city, the protagonist left wandering alone after everyone vanished within a short time, the indelible traces of past lives borne by the city, and the thrill of the hunt within this urban landscape. All of these elements excited me. I got goosebumps the moment I saw those scenes, so why wouldn't I give it top marks? The story is solid, and my earphones did a great job without breaking.
