Cookiefan's review about Love Actually(2003)

Richard Curtis really knows how to make romantic comedies, and I think this movie has become a Christmas classic for a lot of folks. It weaves together the stories of different people in a bunch of intersecting plotlines. Personally, I found the part about the writer and the Portuguese housekeeper to be the most romantic, the "Enough Now" part to be the most touching, the part about the couple dealing with their marriage crisis to be the most real, the side story about the adult film actor to be the most intriguing, and the part about the old rock star and his manager to be the most heartfelt.

There are ten such stories, which warm your heart and mine..The little boy that loses his mother is depressed all day long, his stepfather does not know how to comfort him. When he learned that his stepson liked the most beautiful girl in school, he warmly encouraged his son to pursue her. In order to win the attention of the little girl, the little boy practiced the drum set so that he could perform with her at the Christmas party. He even broke through the airport security area smartly for a final farewell. The mother of two children faced a marriage crisis. Her husband had an emotional affair.She found an excuse to hide in the bedroom in a hurry and sobbed in the song. Turning around, he laughed exaggeratedly and met the happy face of his beloved son. The husband finally came to his senses.

Un clásico navideño que siempre hay que ver.No hay navidad sin que esta película no sea vista cada año, es un ritual. Me encanta lo dinámica que es la historia y todos los personajes son geniales.

Não é bom.Não espere um filme de muita qualidade por ver o elenco. Cenas fracas e personagens que não nos cativam, só um núcleo me agradou, o de Alan Rickman e Hugh Grant. Parece aqueles filmes de fim de ano que eles reunem um elenco de peso e fazem uma comedia romantica muito fraca e com roteiro também.
