Plantão Cinéfilo's review about Girl, Interrupted(1999)

Unforgettable, period.To date, both one of my personal favorite movies and performances by both Angelina and Winona. What a duo they formed in this one. An incredibly simple plot, but which discusses and portrays complex themes and situations in very raw and downright "ugly" ways at a time when people weren't really talking about that, and in a much more sensitive way, I feel, than in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", for example, which is, granted, just as incredible of a film, but narrates/looks at a similar situation with a different tone and focus point (case in point, maybe, it was made way, way before). Please do yourselves a favor and watch it, if only to see the true range of Angelina Jolie's talent, which goes much beyond Tomb Raider.
