The first trailer for A24's new feature, The Smashing Machine, has hit the web. This highly anticipated movie stars Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Emily Blunt, and it was written and directed by Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems). From the looks of it, this is The Rock's push to get an Oscar nomination. The trailer looks pretty good. It's giving The Wrestler meets Goodfellas, or something.
