PENNYWISE vs CHUCKY... The Final Solution?

Hello, dear moviegoers, today I'm sharing this encounter with iconic horror film characters in this short, imaginative story. I hope you enjoy it!

After the events in Derry, when the now-adult "Losers Club" eliminated IT, better known as Pennywise the clown, the town returned to calm. Everything seemed to be over, but after twenty-seven years, things started happening again.

Once again, there were cases of missing children. Mike Hanlon, the last one left in Derry, summons the others. Their faces, aged by trauma, bear the weight of the past. Mike and the group no longer have the same energy they had when they were young, but they don't want to sit idly by either; they really want to do something to end this evil once and for all.

"Imagine the members already old"

Mike gathers them in his living room. They start chatting, planning a lot of things, but most of the ideas come to nothing until Mike, who appears somewhat mysterious, as if he has something hidden to say, stands in front of them all and tells them his strategy. However, he says that they won't be the ones physically confronting Pennywise, but rather through a ritual.

Upon saying this, the other members of the "Losers Club" are curious to know what it's all about. Mike immediately tells them that he has visited a medium and psychic, and that by invoking an evil spirit, they might be able to counter Pennywise's evil.

Everyone is stunned, staring at each other, and also somewhat afraid, but in the end, they decide to go visit the medium.

Apparently, Mike had already planned everything. He had already spoken with the Medium, so they set out to perform a ritual. In this case, they used a child-shaped doll, since Pennywise likes children; they're weaker. The other members were visibly worried, having learned that the Medium was invoking the spirit of a psychopathic serial killer named Charles Lee Ray in the ritual, since the Medium needed someone with a dark soul for it to be effective.

Thus, the Medium, surrounded by ancient symbols and speaking in an unknown language, began to perform the ritual. At first, there was only a chilling silence, then strange noises like distant echoes were heard that seemed to get closer and closer, until at one point the candles went out and the doll began to move and open and close its eyes.

The Losers' Club members are frightened, but the Medium spits a liquid potion from her mouth onto the doll. After drinking the liquid from a bottle, it was a mixture of essences diluted with water. When the liquid is spilled on the doll, it appears to fall asleep.

The Medium said that what she had just done was to keep the doll's spirit asleep, but that it wouldn't last long, so the Losers' Club embarked on their plan.

They headed to one of the houses where they saw Pennywise appear, spoke with the family living there, and decided to plan a strategy. They told the family to leave for a day, and of course to take their son with them, but on one of the house's windows, they left a life-size photo of the boy as if he were looking out the window. Then they went down to the basement and placed the doll sitting in the corner of one of the walls.

Image description

Hours passed and passed, and a silence reigned, until suddenly a red balloon floated across the sidewalk in front of the house, it was the presence of Pennywise coming for the boy.

Image description

The red balloon enters the house and goes upstairs, where Pennywise's voice is heard being ironic and playing with the child. Pennywise comes out of a closet and realizes that the child is just a figure, but he still senses that there is something inside the house that tempts him to keep searching. He begins to hear strange noises in the basement.

Image description

When he reaches the basement, he discovers "Chuky" sitting on the wall with his eyes closed. Pennywise wonders:

PENNYWISE: "What kind of boy are you...?"

Pennywise tries to read his thoughts, absorb his fears... but finds emptiness, sensing an unhealthy atmosphere.

Pennywise insists, and he asks again, as he approaches the doll:

PENNYWISE: "What are you? Do you want to play? Tell me what kind of kid you are?"

Suddenly, Chucky opens his eyes and answers:

CHUCKY: "One who isn't afraid, you sissy clown."

Chucky jumps on Pennywise as if he wants to strangle him. Pennywise staggers, his form changes, he weakens, but then Pennywise changes strategy. He doesn't seek to dominate him, but to manipulate him...

PENNYWISE (whispering): "Remember... the laughter... the blood... Andy... don't you miss the game, Charles?"

Chucky laughs, his laugh growing darker. He remembers everything. His murders, his glory, his reign of chaos.

The two monsters recognize each other; they cannot kill each other; both are manifestations of fear. As they unite, the air trembles. At times, Pennywise seems to weaken, but he soon recovers. The same happens with Chucky. Sometimes he becomes exhausted, but after a while, he continues attacking. Pennywise tries to mutate into forms of fear, but he doesn't define a particular form, since he cannot see Chucky's fears, since Chucky is also fear itself.

Image description

Such is the paradox of fear that neither can reach the other. Evil is repaid with evil. The energy is so strong that both Chucky and Pennywise engage in a struggle of self-destruction, to the point that a portal opens in the middle of the basement, devouring the floor, the lights, and the shadows.

While all this is happening, the "Losers Club" members appear and observe the bright flashes coming out of the house's windows. The light is so powerful that they can barely see.

Image description

A vortex of screams and traumatic memories begins to be heard. Both Pennywise and Chucky fall into it, trapped in a dimension where fear is eternal, to the point that there is an oversaturation, a fractal of evil that ends up merging both characters into a luminous and cosmic spiral, forming a small point of light that disappears into the vast darkness of the night. Finally, Pennywise is defeated forever by his very essence: evil.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the challenge was to cross two horror characters (because of "Freddy vs. Jason" and "Alien vs. Predator"), but I honestly couldn't think of any effective way to cross over with current villains, plus we don't have many modern horror villains.
This crossover is actually a great idea; it could easily be a movie if the plot were lengthened a bit by having Chucky or Pennywise kill a couple of people before they battle.

WHAT A BRUTAL CONCEPT!
The idea that fear can only be defeated by its very essence (Chucky as an anti-Pennywise!) is so cool it hurts.

La historia trasciende el crossover fanático para cuestionar: ¿Puede el horror ser su propia perdición? La respuesta, aquí, es un sí catastróficamente poético.
