Greg Nicotero

Gregory Nicotero is an American special make-up effects artist, television producer, and director. He began his career in Pittsburgh under Tom Savini and later co-founded KNB EFX Group with Robert Kurtzman and Howard Berger in 1988, a studio responsible for effects on over 400 film and TV projects. Nicotero has served as producer, effects supervisor, and director on a major AMC television series, directing 37 episodes and creating a related web series. He has also contributed as a special effects artist on feature films, including creating iconic creatures. KNB EFX has won multiple awards, including an Emmy (2001) and an Academy Award (2006).
